Our Mission

Uplift Travel offers trips that give back. The globally-focused travel agency plans itineraries and leads trips designed, through visits and sharing of a portion of profits, to lift up marginalized communities.

It does so by forging connections and supporting sustainable projects that lead to better education and economic development, particularly for women, as well as funding of water and food systems. Sometimes we throw in a trip designed simply to bring you joy.

The company's partner foundation by the same name supports on-the-ground projects in spots to which we travel, focusing on coming alongside locals in efforts launched and run by community visionaries.

Our goal is to empower and expand, not to assume we, as outsiders have the solution. Our hearts are particularly drawn to efforts that support hungry and thirsty children and that educate and employ marginalized women and girls.
