Tim Skubick Tim Skubick has covered Michigan government and politics for 38 years, longer than any other journalist in the state. He anchors the weekly public TV series,"Off the Record" and covers the state capitol for WWJ NewsRadio 950 and WJBK-TV-2 in Detroit. In addition he writes a weekly political column for 24 statewide newspapers and works for the Michigan Radio Network composed of 66 outstate radio stations. He's won four Emmy's, was recently inducted in the Michigan Broadcast and Michigan Journalism Halls of Fame and has written two books. "See Dick and Jen Run" on the 2006 race for governor is on sale at the conference. He has agreed to sell the book at a discount and will sign copies after his presentation. He holds the BA and MA degrees from Michigan State University and is in wide demand as a conference speaker and he also conducts media training seminars around the country.
