Alison Arnold

Alison Arnold currently serves as Marketing, Communications, and Volunteer Services Director for Traverse City Area Public School district in Northwest Michigan (enrollment of 10,000+ students); and leads strategies for building community engagement, partnerships, and capacity building for new programs to support  children's  learning.

Alison’s career trek spans educational, business, and non-profit sectors. As educator, facilitator, and change agent, Arnold applies her expertise gained from teaching, corporate marketing, communications, and non-profit leadership to cultivate synergies and empower individuals to transform communities.

Alison has earned an Education Specialist Degree from Central Michigan University and she is working on her doctorate. In 2010, Arnold completed a fellowship with the Michigan Education Policy Program through Michigan State University and the Institute for Educational Leadership. Additionally, the Pawley Learning Institute at Oakland University has certified Arnold in Lean Thinking for Schools.

Alison’s continuous discovery of common threads that weave people together inspires her to contribute her best work yet to change.
